My name is Elta, short for Elartha ---
from Elizabeth + Martha. Now let's take these names and see where it takes me:
"Elizabeth" - so I became a 'queen' as God's "Child of Joy".
"Martha"- known for serving... and sometimes being a bit of a complainer (?)
Hence, Elta, the joyful servant is also a human being who at times experience the pain and ecstacy of travelling the journey... of giving expecting no reward, and yet being blessed in many ways beyond comprehension.
I am the evidence of my journey thus far... yet I am still becoming more of what my Master intended for me at the beginning when I was in being woven by Him... in the secret place of my mother's womb.
"Tomorrow" I may have to introduce myself differently - the adventure I call becoming more of me... and in all this I am reminded that in upholding the ideal relationship of the "I-Thou" versus the "I-It" (Buber) we can grow together.
